My style of couples therapy focuses on the interaction patterns between the couple, both historically and what is present currently, that has you seeking change. This approach is considered Emotionally Focused Couple therapy, a structured approach that focuses on the underlying emotions, language, and adult attachment bonds that has the couple feeling either unbalanced or stressed.
This approach allows for complete personalization in our meetings, each partner brings their own fingerprint to the relationship, having their own feelings and story to tell regarding the couple narrative. no two couples are the same.
I work with both partners to enhance attachment communication and increase the bond between one another. This enhancement of communication includes understanding the negative cycle that is present in the relationship, one another's emotional needs, wants and redefining your interactions based on these needs to build a more secure bond.
